County wide healthcare is provided from several sources. The impressive Aurora Health Care organization, a non-profit making venture, is a nationally acknowledged healthcare leader. It also supplies a host of other social services such as caring for the elderly, pharmacy services and a center specializing in the rehabilitation of people who have suffered from physical or emotional abuse. Holy Family Memorial Medical Center is the remaining healthcare provider, offering similar services to Aurora.

Manitowoc Education

Schooling options in Manitowoc County are fairly diverse with some very impressive public and private options available to parents and students. For post high school education there is the University of Wisconsin –Manitowoc and Silver Lake College, which provide high quality access to further education.
